We had a wonderful weekend spent at the lake with family. It was one of those good for the soul weekends complete with hiking and lots of time in nature that made it hard on all of us to return home and go to work/school on Monday.
Little guy’s first time driving the boat in his grand daddy’s lap- SO much love. This is the same boat in the same lake that I grew up driving in my beloved grand daddy’s lap. I know he is smiling down from Heaven.

I really needed this weekend. It was was nice to spend time with family and be out in God’s beautiful creation. With all of the craziness that has been my life lately it felt really nice to be surrounded by people I love doing things I love.Just what my soul needed.
