Princess 1st Birthday Party

Back in February we celebrated our baby girl turning one with a special princess party with our family. Today I am finally getting around to sharing with you all some of the party highlights.

The princess cake and smash cakes were made by my awesome mom who makes the kids cakes for each of their parties as part of her gift to them. She has done some absolutely incredible cakes in the past. The princess photo booth accessories, backdrop, and gold #1 balloon actually came from the Dollar Tree. The princess tiara’s we picked up at Target along with the unicorn pinata and the glitter crowns for the boys. And my favorite, her adorable 1st birthday outfit, came from Amazon for less than $15. You can view it at this link.

One of our favorite birthday party traditions for our kids is each year is to purchase a book that goes along with the theme of the party and ask each party guest to sign it with a special message. We plan to do this until our children turn at least 10 and when they grow up they will have at least 10 books with special messages from friends and family that attended their birthday parties to look back on and remember their special days. The book we purchased for her 1st party was called “Today I’ll Be a Princess.”

It was such a sweet, fun day celebrating our little miracle princess. We love her more than she could ever know. To say she enjoyed her party, the cake, and presents was a bit of an understatement.

Happy 1st birthday, baby girl!
