New Fall 2013 TV Shows

One of the reasons I love fall is because it means the return of all the TV shows I love and the start of new shows to fall in love with :). Since this week marks the beginning of many of those shows I thought it would be fun to write a post featuring the five new shows this fall I am excited to watch.

1. Sleepy Hollow premiered Sept. 16th at 9 PM e on Fox

This series is supposed to be the perfect mix of spunk and spooky. It features a present day sheriff with an 18th century dude by the name of Ichabod Crane as the headless horseman. I thought it premiered this week and not last week so I still need to watch the first week’s episode online before catching the second episode on my DVR tonight.

2. Hostages premieres tonight Sept. 23rd at 10 PM e on CBS

This is a suspense drama (one of my favorite genres) that stares Toni Collette as a surgeon thrust into a political conspiracy when her family is taken hostage by rogue FBI Agent Duncan Carlisle. I have really high hopes for this show!

3. Trophy Wife premieres Sept. 24th 9:30 PM e on ABC

A reformed party girl finds herself an instant mom when she falls in love with a man who has three manipulative children and two judgmental ex-wives. This one has the potential to be really funny!

4. The Crazy Ones premieres Sept. 26th at 9:00 PM e on CBS

Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar together in a comedy? That’s all you had to say to get my interest perked! This series is about a larger than life advertising genius whose unorthodox methods and unpredictable behavior would get him fired if he weren’t the boss.

5. The Millers premieres October 3rd at 8:30 PM e on CBS

This show starts Will Miller who is a recently divorced reporter looking forward to living the single life until his parent’s martial problem derail his plans. His mother ends up moving in with him which, of course, runs all his plans of single life. This show looks like it could be really, really funny!

Those are the five new shows I’m going to try! What new shows this fall are you excited to watch? Any I’m missing?

I am not super excited about any of the new shows I see them promoting on TV lately, it all feels the same doesn't it? Like reinventing the wheel. Thanks for joining #LOBS

Did any of these shows turn out as good as you had hoped they would be? The Crazy Ones wasn't all I had hoped for. Sleepy Hollow got a partial vote from my husband. Trophy Wife came off as to stupid in my book. .

What was your opinion after you had the chance to view them?

I really liked Crazy Ones and Hostages! I thought Sleepy Hollow was kind of corny.
