How this Soon-to-Be Mommy Finds Time to Nap: Stop Sorting Laundry

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser.

Well I have finally made it to the full term mark in my pregnancy and have suddenly become overwhelmed by tiredness once again during this last few weeks of pregnancy. Between the kicks and thrills from my little guy and the overwhelming urge to get everything ‘done’ before he comes I am worn out! Unfortunately that doesn’t stop me from having to do all the normal household tasks like laundry. However, I have found a way where I can save a little extra time to allow myself a quick afternoon nap since the location below has become my new favorite spot (hint: it involves stop sorting laundry)….I know, I know…please don’t judge my messy bed but when you are 9 months pregnant you use however many pillows/blankets/sheets it requires to ensure you get even the smallest amount of sleep.

Ok, so have I sparked your curiosity? Wondering where I am finding extra time to get in a short nap? Thanks to Purex® No Sort™ for Colors detergent I no longer have to worry about sorting my laundry which means I don’t have to waste any time sorting loads by color, fabric, etc. and can simply toss everything into one big load it the washing machine!

Skeptical? I was at first, as well. But I decided to give it a good test and grabbed my entire laundry basket full of cottons, towels, and every color under the sun to put Purex® No Sort™ to the test.

And guess what? It WORKED! Turns out laundry rules have changed with Purex® No Sort™ for Colors detergent. We’re talking true laundry innovation here. Purex® No Sort™ for Colors detergent features a breakthrough in what they call anti-color transfer technology (who knew there was such a term!). What that means to moms like you & me or anyone else in charge of the laundry is that this detergent actually traps the loose dye in your wash and does not let them settle onto other fabrics. That reduces color bleeding accidents in your mixed color loads and leaves your clothes looking bright and clean (and all my clothes came out smelling great might I add).

Mixing these dirty clothes together in one load ultimately led to less sorting and less loads giving me extra time that I thoroughly enjoyed to take a short cat nap! LaundrySimplified is the hashtag I would use to describe my experience with this new, innovate product!

However, I do want to disclose up front that while Purex® No Sort™ for Colors detergent is an awesome product it can’t work miracles, so you still need to wash any new pieces of clothing, especially jeans, separately the first few times (they recommend on back of the bottle the first five times) you clean them before tossing them in with the rest of the laundry.

I purchased this product at my local Walmart although you should be able to find it at many local retailers.

This would be something similar to the color catcher sheets used to catch loose dyes or heavy dirt. Shout makes them and also Dr???
Wonder how it would work for washing new quilts or fabric?

I'm not sure I have never used the color catcher sheets? Do they allow you to wash laundry without sorting?

They recommend that all new fabrics be washed five times before throwing in the same load to avoid colors leaking.
