I LOVE Gorton’s fish! For a working mom-to-be like me Gorton’s makes a great, easy, delicious dinner. All I have to do is throw some fish in the oven, heat up some veggies, and call it a day!

What some of you might not realize is that Gorton’s has a line of “healthy” grilled fish. With Lent right around the corner (for those of you that celebrate it) Gorton’s grilled product selections would make a great addition to your menu plans. My favorite are the Tilapia Signature Grilled Fillets.The fillets are soft and perfectly flaky inside and don’t taste like frozen fish at all to be honest with you! Sprinkle a little lemon juice on them and they make a delicious, healthy entree! 



Gorton’s Grilled Tilapia offers all the freshness and quality we would expect from the brand. In fact, the box even carries a label showing that it is Five Star Tilapia. According to the carton, the Gorton’s Five Star Tilapia is given because this lean-cut fish is white and flaky, possesses a mild flavor, is quick-frozen for freshness, and is “100%” inspected for quality and safety.
Gorton’s Grilled Tilapia can be cooked in either a microwave or oven. I chose to cook mine in the oven, which requires a 400-degree setting. You then place the tilapia seasoned-side up in an aluminum foil-lined metal pan and let the grilled tilapia fillets cook for 18 to 20 minutes. That’s eat! Remove from the oven and enjoy!


Gorton’s products have become one of our our favorite easy weeknight dinners. Whether we cut up the fish fillets and add them to a salad or simply serve the fillets or sticks with fries for a delicious fish and chip dinner both ways take very little time and taste great!
