The Day My Dream Came True

I still remember it like it was yesterday. The day I found out I was pregnant. It is so hard to believe that it was 3.5 years ago! It was something I had dreamed about my entire life. I had wanted nothing more than to be a Mommy my entire life. I still remember when my husband told me he was ready to have a baby and I smiled as I realized I was ready as well. Scared but excited we started down the journey of trying to get pregnant in late June/ early July of 2013.

We were very fortunate in that it only took us three months to conceive after coming off birth control. I used an app called “Glow” that told you which days you were ovulating and before we knew it I was pregnant. Not everyone has as easy as a time as we did with our first baby (and there is no guarantees that the process will be as easy the next time around). After much research some of the other recommendations I have for getting pregnant include :
-reducing stress as much as  possible
-taking vitamins
-work out
-Use the Stork OTC. The Stork OTC is a uniquely designed medical device you use at home, during ovulation, to assist your chances of becoming pregnant by using the cervical cap insemination technique. This smart technique enables the sperm to quickly bypass the vaginal tract and places the sperm as close as possible to the opening of the cervix, right where it needs to swim up through to get to the egg. The product can be used in private, at home, without a prescription.

I ‘knew’ I was pregnant early on…like seriously I was probably only two or so weeks pregnant when the below happened:

One of my co-workers was eating a Greek yogurt. I so vividly remember telling her that she should not be eating the yogurt because it stunk so badly and must have gone bad. All the rest of my coworkers looked at me like I was crazy and said I was totally nuts and that the yogurt smelt fine. I thought it smelled so badly that I ran to the bathroom and threw up. Three weeks later I finally saw the two pink lines on my pregnancy test. Little did I know that it was the first of many, many hours of being sick in a bathroom due to pregnancy.

I still remember being SO excited to tell my husband we were pregnant. After all my dream of becoming a Mommy was coming true! I had thought long and hard on how to tell my hubby we were expecting and had come up with what I thought was the perfect plan. While my husband jumped in the shower to get ready for work I quickly went in the other room and used red lipstick to make a heart around my belly button. I then used the lipstick to write “we love you, Daddy!” My plan was to walk in and let him read the lipstick. What I didn’t account for was that he would actually see me in the mirror  (backwards) with red all over my stomach. When I walked back in to our bathroom (I still remember he was shaving in the mirror) he screamed. “Oh my gosh! Your bleeding”. None the less it was not quite the picture perfect moment I had imagined but once I convinced him I wasn’t hurt and was instead pregnant we laughed and cried happy tear together.

After what felt like a VERY long nine months later we were so very blessed to welcome our baby boy in to the world. Being a Mommy has been such an amazing and wonderful gift and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

We would love to have you join us for a Twitter Party to learn about new chances to get pregnant in the new year! the party is January 26 at 8pm EST – participate by using the hashtag  #2017StorkOTCjourney
