It’s been a while since I’ve done a get to know you post so when I saw this 20 question game on Meet the Sullivans I decided to join in on the fun!
1. Favorite food:
Easy. Mexican hands down. I could eat it five times a week. I love it so much that I totally don’t count Moe’s as eating Mexican. 🙂
2. Flip flops or high heels:
Flip flops all the way. I a not a friend of sore feet. Although I do wear them several times a week to work but I also totally rock a cute wedge.
3. Favorite places to shop for yourself:
Pretty much all of my clothes come from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, online boutiques, or everyone’s favorite….Target!
4. Standard Coffee order:
Chai Tea Latte or Pumpkin Spice Latte when it is in season
5. Road trip must have snack:
Chewy Sprees (I’m an addict), Mentos, and anything cheesy.
6. DIY or hire it out?
I would say we are DIYers 80% of the time. My husband is SUPER handy and has been known to replace our water heater, change oils in our cars, paint our home, change out light fixtures, and more. However, when it comes to the things we don’t find fun we are not opposed to hiring it out. We have a SAINT who cleans our house every three weeks and have hired out our exterior of our home to be painted. Basically we take the fun stuff or things we can’t bear to pay for and hire out the things that are going to suck tons of time and are basic.
7. Top 5 TV shows:
Bachelor/Bachelorette, Walking Dead, Revenge, Modern Family, Jim Gaffigan Show, Duck Dynasty (if you have not seen Jon Luke and Mary Kate’s wedding you need to…adorable!)….I have also recently started binge watching Parenthood and have become addicted
8. Favorite Book:
Heaven is Real is one of my all time favorites.
9. Favorite Form of Exercising:
Pure Bare or Walking.
10. How tall are you?
5’5.5″ and in case you were wondering, yes that extra 1/2 an inch matters
11. Do you try something new at restaurants or stick to your favorites?
I’m a creature of habit and stick to my favorites.
12. One make up item you can’t live without:
My phone.
13. What’s on your nightstand?
A framed picture from our wedding, candle, coaster with a picture of my mom and in in college, lamp, phone charger, and baby monitor.
14. What’s one thing motherhood has taught you?
Only one thing? That’s tough. I guess if I could just pick one thing it would be that time is SO precious. Babies grow so fast….you blink and they are a toddler. Soak it up people and don’t blink!
15. Music that reminds you of high school:
N’Sync or get ready…Nobody’s Angel…google it all all 2000 kids.
16. If you could live anywhere in the world besides your current city where would you live?
I think I would love living in Nashville or Charlotte…
17. Tell us something about you we might not know:
I’m a bit of a germ avoid-er. I do not share drinks with anyone besides my husband and even if I do that (which is seldom) I have to have two straws. I won’t share a dessert so if you go out to dinner with me we will need to get two plates and cut the dessert in half and put it on our own plates before eating. Also, airports gross me out. I don’t touch the railings on the sky train…ew!
18. Websites you read/browse (besides blogs):
Goodness, I’m lucky if I get to pursue Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and my favorite blogs everyday.
19. Morning person or Night owl?
Morning person for sure! I am way more productive in the morning…and crash at night!
20. Favorite Breakfast meal:
Donuts…I have an obsession. It is my guilty pleasure.
