Nursery Tour: My Favorite Room in our Home Decorated for Practically Free

I realized the other day that I never gave you guys a full nursery tour of little man’s room. I have shown you bits and pieces but not the full room which is really sad considering it is my favorite room in our home. By the way please pardon the Christmas decor that was still up when I took these photos a few weeks ago. Above is a complete view of our nursery minus the awesome pendant light.

We love our “E” letter door hanger on his door created by the wonderful Sally from Silly Sally Girl. You can see my post all about it here.
This was an idea I had for my gender reveal party which you can read about here. I bought a solid white shirt and used monogram iron on letters to spell out his now. I then had all the guests at our gender revel party sign it with fabric markers. I then bought a cheap frame at Target, painted it, and framed it on his wall.

The letters over the bed my husband made.  You can read more about them here. The bed skirt came from etsy. The mobile was from Target as was the bed sheet and mesh bumper. The throw my wonderful Mother made us as a present. The toy basket in the corner I found at TJ Maxx.

The chevron baskets were from TJ Maxx. The nightstand and bookshelf I found at local antique stores and painted. The “E” letter on the shelf was a TJ Maxx $1.99 clearance find. The chevron yellow curtain was from Leigh Design Etsy store. The frame was a cheap frame I bought at Hobby Lobby and painted yellow. The lamp was from Perrelle Designs Etsy store. The security camera in the corner is a Summer Infant Monitoring system that I would highly recommend. It allows you to view your baby from your iphone, check the temperature of his room, and even talk to him/her! The glider and chair are from Walmart believe it or not! The custom pillow is from Ted and Lucy etsy store.  You get a small glimpse of the hanging pendant light we made for our son’s room in this photo. You can read more about it here and get a better glimpse of the “before.”
Most of these items I have already covered. The rock and play in the background collapsed I HIGHLY recommend! We have used and used and used this thing! He is just now outgrowing it at seven months! The pillow on the floor is from Sew Simply Blessed etsy store.
The blanket was handmade as a baby gift from a friend. The hamper is from Walmart. The star on the wall was a $1.

The dresser made changing table was an antique store find I love! The chevron basket was a TJ Maxx find. The gray shelf was also a TJ Maxx find. The chevron changing cover was from The Pink Polka Dot Boutique on Etsy. The lamp I found at Lowe’s. The yellow shelf was a crate I bought at Michael’s and painted yellow. The diaper pail is a Diaper Genie I got for $1 at a yard sale. I love it but the bags are expensive ya’ll! The canvas was from Yellow Sunshine Art etsy store. The star on teh shelf was $1 at a yard sale.

The only thing new in this photo is the canvas which was also from Yellow Sunshine Art etsy store.
I truly hope you enjoyed my nursery tour! As I said this is my favorite room in our house and I might cry when I have to make it a “big boy room.”
