My Current Spring Pregnancy Craving + Easy Clean Up

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Wet-Nap but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #showusyourmess  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

For the most part my cravings this pregnancy have come and gone however I have had one constant craving this spring…Coke Icees! I can not seem to get enough of them. I don’t know what it is about them…maybe it’s the cold taste of the ice going down my throat? Whatever it is I want them…like all.the.time! The bad news is I am trying to limit my intact of Coke Icees I purchase from the convenience stores as they do not offer caffeine-free Coke Icees. But this poses a problem because those of you who have been pregnant know that as a pregnant lady when you get a craving you get a craving!

Luckily I have found I can make my own, caffeine-free Coke Icees at home! They are actually pretty simple to make. The only downside is that they can be quite messy! Luckily I had gone shopping at Walmart for a Wet-Nap Packet and had it ready to go to help me clean up the mess!

To make these Icees all you need are the below ingredients and supplies:

  • Caffeine-free Coke
  • Ice cube tray (who likes my UGA ice cubes ;))
  • Blender (The Magic Bullet works great!)
  • Wet-Nap wipes for easy clean up

The first suggestion I have for you when making your own Icee for a delicious spring treat is to make your own ice cubes out of coke instead of blending ice and coke. Although blending ice and coke will work it makes for a more watered down Icee instead of a delightful coke treat similar to that of one you would purchase.

As you can see it didn’t take long for me to make a mess. Although I love the look of my UGA ice cube tray it is not the easiest tray for staying mess free….and when I went to put the tray in the freezer I made an even bigger mess. At this point in time I was VERY thankful for my Wet-Nap towelettes to make clean up easy.

Once your ice cubes have frozen it is time for step 2: adding your ice cubes to the Magic Bullet and blending.

Your finished result should look something like this:

And you are finished! It’s time to sit back and enjoy your spring treat! Or, if you’re like me…take a big sip and fulfill that pregnancy craving! Happy baby makes for a happy life, right?! 🙂

Thankfully, Wet-Nap products made enjoying this spring treat so much more enjoyable b by mading my least favorite part, the clean up process, SO much simpler! The Wet-Nap products are even safe to use on your face so they can help clean up your sticky smile as well! Before making your Coke Icee treat I would recommend using the linked coupon to download a coupon for $.55 off a Wet-Nap product while supplies last!

Enter to win:  Wet-Nap is currently holding a contest called the Most Original Mess Contest.  Participants can upload a photo entry of their messy kids and share the link across social media.  The photo with the most votes wins a $1,000 giftcard to Walmart and a year’s supply of product. Voting will close on June 16.  You can see more at: http://contest.wetnap.com/.
