Initial Necklace

I was so excited to receive my C&J initial necklace from Madeline at Minthologie Etsy store. Madeline makes the neatest jewelry and since receiving and wearing my necklace I have gotten many compliments!

Minthologie is an Etsy store that sells a hand-made collection of modern jewelry pieces for girls and women. Madeline uses an array of pearls, gems, and metals to create simple and affordable items that compliment any wardrobe.

Here is a photo of the necklace I received:

I love how simple it is and that it can be worn with literally any outfit yet still makes a statement! It has become my go-to necklace for many of my day to day outfits.

While making jewelry for friends and family for Christmas in 2012 Madeline had the idea to start her shop. Art and design has always been part of her life as her grandfather was a calligrapher and painter and when she was a little girl she used to grind ink for him while he painted. Her mother was also a painter and an art history professor who designed women’s clothing. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and Madeline has always loved creating and making things and thus is excited to be able to share her creativity with her customers through jewelry!

All of her pieces are simple yet gorgeous! I’m totally eyeing this necklace and bangle bracelet:

Madeline is a stay-at-home mom and her 3 year-old son provides her with a great reminder to have fun and include a little whimsy in her designs.

I have some exciting news!
Madeline has graciously offered to give a 15% discount to all my readers.
Just enter code APRIL15 while checking out.
Code expires the end of April 2014.

If you would like to receive updates on new designs from her shop, promotions, and weekly giveaways, like her on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/minthologie.

Disclosure: I received a free product in exchange for a honest review based on personal experience with this product. No monetary compensation was received or will be received between MFJ and the associated company with this product.

What a sweet idea. I know my teen daughter adores anything with initials involved. Too cute!
