Hodge Podge Tuesday

Welcome back to Hodge Podge Tuesday….man this has been a crazy week! I am more than ready to share with you all some of the things I am loving this week!

1. This Guy

Seriously my love for this little boy grows daily…this past weekend we celebrated his 10 month birthday. Hard to believe time is passing as quickly as it is. He is currently cutting his 3rd and 4th tooth (both upper front teeth) so he is in need extra mommy cuddles which I am loving.

2. Yard Sale Season

I posted all about it so if you missed my post be sure to check it out all the great deals I found last weekend. Truly this time of year is one of my favorite because of all the treasure hunting.

3. Low Country Boils

This week we also celebrated my amazing husband’s birthday week. We finished off the birthday week with low country boil at my parents house. Shrimp, corn, potatoes all seasoned up and thrown on newspaper…bring it on! This time of year calls for at least one low country boil.

4. Senoia, GA Home of Walking Dead

We are lucky enough to live very close to Senoia, Georgia…better known as Woodbury for all you Walking Dead fans out there. We are huge Walking Dead fans so going to Senoia makes it added fun for us as we get to see all the local scenes and often get to see them film for the show (they resume filming 5/4). Senoia is a great city to visit even if you aren’t a walker fan as it is full of lots of great shops and is also home to Zack Brown’s restaurant and shop. In the photo above you will see where they are filming the current season.

5. The Longest Ride

The Longest Ride is Nicolas Spark’s newest book made in to motion picture. We had the opportunity to see this movie on a date night Saturday night and loved it! It does not follow the book very closely but they could not have gotten a better actor and actress to play the part. If you are a sucker for a good love story like me this is a must see. Even my husband admitted he really enjoyed it. O.k. made it was the bull riding he enjoyed but still a must see if you are looking for a good love story.

Hope your week is off to a great start!

That low country boil looked delicious, we call it a seafood boil here, we load it up with all kinds of seafood, potatoes, corn, serve it up hot! Love it. We do it with other couples each one brings a type of seafood-shrimp, crab, lobster, scallops and we have a great meal and a great time together! BTW, your little one is adorable, hope the teething goes smoothly for both of you!
