Black Friday Tips and Tricks

What kind of holiday shopper are you? Are you the kind that loves to go out on Thanksgiving night and crazy early hours day after Thanksgiving to get the best Black Friday deals in person? Or are you the kind that prefers to do most of your holiday shopping online (hello Cyber Monday)? Or, are you the kind of shopper who purchases gifts all year long and just has a few small things to finish up come Christmas time? Personally I’m a little bit of the last two. I do like to go out and do some Black Friday shopping in person the day after Thanksgiving but usually wait and start later in the morning and for me it is more for fun than to be productive. In fact we have the last few years shopped local and taken advantage of what our town calls “Plaid Friday” where you wear plaid and get discounts to shop local stores. It’s so fun. Because Black Friday for me is more about fun than the productive end of checking things off the list I shop throughout the year and then do the rest online. For those who are like me and love to shop Black Friday whether that be in person or online are you familiar with Slick Deals? Slick Deals is great because it shows you all the best deals and coupons all in one place from popular retailers such as Target!

Speaking of Target….man I love Target. Like really I have to some days just avoid the place altogether or I will spend money I don’t need to spend. Did you know that Target has already released their Black Friday ads and you can see them all at Slick Deals? I love to get Target’s family Christmas PJs (and have already purchased some this year for the four of us, shh don’t tell my family, it’s a surprise). They also have the cutest toddler clothing and clothing for me as well. We love their holiday decor and home decor as well. And don’t even get me started on Chip and Jo’s Magnolia line…Thanks to Slick Deals I can easily see what is going on sale for Black Friday at Target (and other stores) so I know how to save the most money on what I plan to purchase.

As far as my best tips for Black Friday shopping I highly recommend you make your plan of attack before showing up at the stores. Pre-plan out what deals you are after and where to be when. This way you will save precious time and energy when out in the hustle and bustle. Also please remember to be kind to others and have fun while shopping no matter how long that line might be. And grab yourself a peppermint mocha while you’re at it! Merry shopping ya’ll!
