Baby Shower #3 & The Famous Location of My Shower

So I am a slacker and realized that I have not shown you all pictures from my third baby shower back in May. This shower was a luncheon hosted by some wonderful friends at the Swan House. For those of you not from Atlanta The Swan House is a beautiful, historic, mansion built in 1928 that is known as one of the most photographed places in Atlanta. There is even a historical fiction book that I highly recommend written about this historical place.

Anyways I was treated to a wonderful baby shower luncheon with several of my closet friends and family members at this beautiful house! Fun fact: The Swan House was one of many Georgia set locations used during the filming of the movie The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

Here are some photos from my shower:

The beautiful setting with my grandmother-in-law at the table. Check out the adorable cookies my friend had made as favors!

The lovely ladies on the bottom left are two of the three ladies that threw the shower for me. One is pregnant as well expecting her second little girl and the other just had her second child, a baby boy. 🙂 The desert on the top right is called “The Swan” and is the dessert the Swan house is known for!
Opening gifts on the top left, photos of two close friends, and the party favor!
Last but not least here is a photo of all the wonderful ladies who attend my shower!
I feel so tremendously blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family members who love little E so much already! 15 days until my due date! YAYYY!

That dessert looks lovely! What exactly is it? A meringue of some kind? Reading from the Let's Be Friends Blog Hop!

I love The Swan House. It is one of my favorite places to go with my Mom and Grandma. I found your blog through WYWW and I am so glad I did. It is kind of strange how much we have in common. My husband and I went to high school together and began dating in 2005. We were engaged in 2010 and married on July 23, 2011. I even had sunflowers in my bouquet! We too are expecting our first child in November. I have enjoyed perusing through your post. I am so glad I found your blog! I look forward to reading more of your post! I know you guys are so excited about meeting your little one soon!!
